The owner and calligrapher behind Serenity in Calligraphy, a creative business based in Montréal, Québec, specializing in bespoke calligraphy, engraving, pyrography and painting.
Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with luxury brands like Tiffany & Co., Coach, and Marc Jacobs, among others.
Being an immigrant and speaking both official languages here in Canada has given me the independence and ability to serve my clients in the most personal way possible. Whether I’m working on a commission in my studio or personalizing luxury products right in front of your guests at an event, I’m all about creating unforgettable experience.
my creative journey
As a young girl, I found joy in lettering and drawing on any surface I could find. After school, I would climb onto the roof of our farmhouse with pen and paper to watch and draw the sunset. Art soothed my soul.
In 2017, my husband and I moved to Bahrain with our toddler. While living in the Middle East wasn’t new to me, as I had spent nearly eight years in Dubai, raising a toddler in a country where I had no family and friends, was extremely challenging. I sometimes felt overwhelmed and searched for an outlet to express my emotions, which led me to discover the joy of painting. Inspired by Mr. Bob Ross and Donna Dewberry's YouTube videos, I began painting on everything from canvases to candle jars, rediscovering the joy I felt during my childhood.
My love affair with pen and ink truly began in 2019 when my husband surprised me with my first set of calligraphy brush pens and a modern calligraphy workshop after I expressed my desire to personalize our wedding vows with calligraphy. Since then, I haven’t stopped learning. In 2022, I joined Nina’s Spencerian Bootcamp, it was there that I fell head over heals for the elegance of Spencerian scripts and Ornamental penmanship-styles that have become my signature. I also enjoy working with Copperplate, Modern calligraphy and the bold strokes of Fraktur. Each day, I’m driven by the desire to create something beautiful and meaningful.
Now I’m based in the beautiful city of Montréal where I’ve turned my passion into a career. Serenity in Calligraphy is my little corner of the world where I can express my creativity, connect with amazing clients, and, most importantly, be a present and full-time mom to my two young kids.

From engraving a Tiffany & Co. teacup to celebrate a new baby to hand-painting wine bottles for a special occasion, I put my heart into every piece. What makes my work special is the personal touch. I'm more than just a vendor—I’m a partner in making your vision come to life. I’ll work with you every step of the way, from planning to the big day, to make sure everything is perfect. And since I speak both French and English, I’m here to help clients in Montréal, Québec, and around the world.
